As you know, the Corona epidemic is going on in the country, due to which all the business is still stalled. Due to which there has been a lot of loss to private companies, then there has been a huge reduction in the revenue received by the government as well.
Recently there was a 44th e-auction in DD Freedish in March 2020, in which several private TV channels participated. Those TV channels were also added to DD Freedish. But the earnings of these free-to-air channels have also been affected occasionally due to the Corona epidemic. The advertising revenue graph for these channels went down significantly.
So these free-to-air TV channels wrote to Mr. Prakash Javadekar, asking for some concessions and help in relation to the payment of DD free dish carriage fee. Therefore Prasar Bharati has responded to that letter by email and has provided it with certain conditions for a period of three months. You can see more information in the email copy given below.
